Worship at Emmanuel Chapel

Our greatest joy and privilege as a church is to worship the Living God through our High Priest, the Lord Jesus Christ. Worship on the Lord’s Day is the high point of every week and the most important thing that we do as a church. In worship, we are gathered into the special presence of God to offer a sacrifice of praise through the mediation of Jesus Christ. Through the corporate prayers and worship of the church, God manifests the Kingdom of His Son in the world, and equips us for the works to which he has called us. It is our goal at Emmanuel Chapel to have a worship service that is thoroughly saturated with the Word of God: We sing the Word of God (Psalms and biblically faithful songs), hear the word the Word of God (the reading and preaching of scripture), pray the Word of God (appeal to the scriptures in prayer), and receive the visible Word of God (the sacraments).
